It’s A Must-See

The classic horror movie It, which might as well be titled Coulrophobics Worst Nightmare, is getting a remake. Maybe you’ve heard about it or maybe not, but either way, this is definitely a must-see movie of 2017.

Just from the snippets seen in the trailers, It 2.0 seems to be similar to the original—commonplace in most movie remakes to keep from boring original audiences—as it has the infamous scene with the kid and the paper boat, among other scenes.

Just for a some background, the It movie is actually based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel of the same name, but it wasn’t until the movie came out that people started fearing Pennywise the Clown. The original movie was produced by New Line Cinema, KatzSmith Productions, Lin Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures—bringing to life  this terrifying-looking clown. And now, he only seems to get creepier in the remake.

As if the story of Pennywise wasn’t creepy enough, according to the plot, Pennywise returns to Derry (the city where the story is taken place) every 27 years to terrorize the town and eat its children. What’s disturbing about that you ask? Well the original ‘It’ movie came out in the year 1990 and now the remake is coming out this year 27 years later…frightening right?

September 8, 2017— mark it down on your calendars and go see the remake of this classic horror movie. Even if you haven’t seen the original film, go give this movie a try. One thing that is for sure is that everyone will be talking about ‘It’ so take a date, go with some friends, or go alone if you dare, but don’t miss out on this must-see horror movie of 2017.
