Tillers Sweep the Leprechauns

By Anthony Zuniga

The Tillers won the baseball game by a landslide, 2-0, on Wednesday, May 3, at Kennedy High School. The game lasted an hour and both teams performed well. One of the few highlights of the game belongs to Rodney Boone who pitched a complete game through seven innings and struck out 11 players. He also batted five hits. It was not just Rodney who stood out in the game; Matthew Olveras assisted in Rodney’s achievement as well as Derek Soto, who scored a run off of Roger Vasquez and moved up bases. Overall the team swept Kennedy and did not leave them even one point. The Tiller baseball team is no joke and they will strive for victory and make Tustin great.
