“Split” Review

If you’re a fanatic of thrillers, the newly released film, Split, is the right fit for you. The movie is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, director of the 1999 horror film, The Sixth Sense. James McAvoy, well known for his role in the X-Men series, plays the role of a mentally ill man named Kevin, compelled by one of his 23 personalities to kidnap three teenage girls. The girls have to determine which one of his personalities would set them free, while unaware of when he will change and what he will change into. This film is sure keep you on your toes. It received a seven and a half rating on IMDB, and according to Common Sense Media, “Split is a smart movie that will undoubtedly leave viewers thinking — and discussing”. The film is rated PG-13 and was released this past Friday, January 20; so, if you’re feeling brave enough, hit up the cinema soon and catch Split before he catches you.
