The highly anticipated lineup for the 25th Annual KROQ Acoustic Christmas was released yesterday morning, Monday, November 16th. The two day concert is a collaboration of electronic rock, indie rock, and punk rock artists and bands. As many radio stations do, KROQ, 106.7 FM, has a few concerts and festivals featuring various bands and artists every year. The eclectic mix of the artists at these events unites a diverse audience with a perpetual love for the genre. Taking place at the Forum in Los Angeles, this concert is the place that every rock lover will want to be on December 12th and 13th.
Returning artists this year include Weezer and Fall Out Boy.
Night one will feature AWOLNATION, Bastille, Cage The Elephant, Disclosure, Foals, Halsey, Silversun Pickups, The Struts, Twenty One Pilots, Weezer, and X Ambassadors.
Night two will feature Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Chris Cornell, Cold War Kids, Elle King, Fall Out Boy, George Ezra, James Bay, Of Monsters and Men, Panic! At the Disco, The 1975, and The Neighbourhood.
All of the artists being featured at this year’s show are enormous names in the rock and alt scene. Tickets start at $75 per night for upper level and go up to $150 for floor risers. Night one of the event will benefit Para Los Ninos, a charity working to bring at-risk children out of poverty, and night two will benefit the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, which provides a safe after-school environment for kids in South Central L.A.
