Busty

Typically, a  busty body type is when your bust is larger,  hips are slender and generally the waist is not prominent. The goal to dressing a busty body type is to attract attention to your face and to balance your broader upper body with your narrower lower body to construct more of an hourglass figure. This is accomplished by choosing dresses that will add curves to your hips all while building  a more defined waist. Opt for a dress with straps for support so you can avoid adjusting your bust all night in a strapless dress.

Apple

The apple body type is when you hold most of your weight around your midriff. Your waistline is undefined or has little definition. A dress with an empire waist will help focus attention in all the right areas and flatter your figure.

Hourglass

The hourglass body shape is curvy. The perfect cut of dress for your body will emphasize your most excellent feature, which is usually a well-defined waist. Natural waistlines, form fitted, v-necklines, open necklines, highlighted waistlines and bandage/wrap style dresses will look lovely on this body type.

Pear

The pear body type is when your hips are larger than your bust and your waist is nicely defined. The objective is to add volume to your upper body, accentuate your tiny waist and minimize your lower body to create a balanced figure. A dress with a fitted top and full or A-line skirt will be perfect for you.

Slim

The slim body type is when you have a thin frame all through. With a slim body type you should emphasize your long and lean physique with a fitted dress. You can also build shape with a belt around your waist or a dress that has a slit which would add dimension.

Petite

Petite girls are usually 5’3 and under. If you wish to appear taller, an asymmetrical hemline will be the right cut for you. Showing a little leg flatters your body type as well. A classy and and appropriate, above-the-knee length is perfect.  Floor length gowns and full skirts have the tendency to overwhelm your frame. Delicate, feminine dresses are a great compliment to your body type.
