Tacos. Everyone loves tacos. Everyone loves street tacos, tacos on corn tortillas, tacos in hard shells, tacos with all sorts of stuffing in them. Tacos are always in season, and Taco Tuesdays have been around for as long as our generation can remember. The tradition actually started in 1989 by a Mexican food chain called Taco John’s. Anyone who’s anyone in Southern California appreciates good Mexican food, and willingly ventures out for weekly to trips to any Mexican restaurant for the perfect taco.

Holé Molé, a taco chain based in Southern California, keeps the tradition alive weekly by selling dollar street tacos. The tiny, tropical-looking bungalow located on Newport Ave. floods every Tuesday around lunch time with people waiting for their tacos. High school students come in groups, workers come in their suits and ties, and North Tustin stay-at-home moms fill up the busy restaurant.

With Mexican beach music playing, a wooden atmosphere, open windows, and an outdoor patio, customers feel as if they are in a taco shop on the beaches of Mexico. Sip on some horchata, get full off of some tacos. Holé Molé has you covered for all of your Taco Tuesday needs.
